Giovanni Abreu
I lead data center and infrastructure delivery, from site and power to production on the committed date.
About
I'm Giovanni. I lead data center and infrastructure delivery: taking new capacity from site selection and power through construction, commissioning, and acceptance to production, on the date it was promised.
I started on the data center floor at Amazon Web Services. In the more than ten years since, at AWS, Epic Games, Humana, and high-growth cloud providers, I have run site launches, new hardware introductions, vendor negotiations, and the integration of acquired companies and fleets.
Today I lead data center deployment at General Compute. On the side I run two things of my own: Karaya Group, an IT and government advisory practice, and Openly Useful, an open-source software studio. I work in English and Spanish.
On the side
